To all fans of trumpet and its sound, as well as to all of those who are coming here for the first time and to those who are coming here again to this event – a Get Together:
All of us anxiously waiting for the 10th of August, Sunday, to find out who deserved to be called a winner and who truly is the best, and who reaped all the ovations of the audience.
The best orchestra from all over Serbia will be presented that afternoon. But the final competition is not open to all only to the best orchestra.
Just as there are quarterfinals in the League of Champions in which the competition is very strong, something similar exists in this music competition. Namely, only the winners of the music sub-competitions, who are voted by the jury and the audience, will turn out in the final competition.
Those music quarterfinals are held in:

Boljevac (near the city of Zajecar) on June 8, 2008.
Kotraza (which is the neighboring village near Guca) on July 7, 2008.
Surdulica (which is the village near the city of Vranje) where in the best orchestra from Southern Serbia gather to participate in the competition in the period from July 10 to July 13, 2008.
Zlatibor (a well known tourist complex) where the best of orchestra from Western Serbia gather to participate in the competition and where the winner from Western Serbia is chosen on July 20, 2008.

All orchestra which become part of the final competition bring a certain stamp or the music style from the geographic area they are coming from, so it remains to be seen if the winners will be the hot sounds of Vranje’s Cocek or the legendary sound of Uzice’s Kolo...
