Dear guests!

We have an exclusive information for you:among the guests of the 47th Trumpet festival we’ll have one more time an american band- WHAT CHEER? BRIGADE. In a short interview Paul told us about the band and the music they play: "Providence RI's WHAT CHEER?BRIGADE is an 18-piece roving brass band that has played in trees, ferris wheels, zoos, grocery stores, bus stops, parties, farms, bars, libraries, soccer fields, cemetaries, and elementary school playgrounds since early 2005. We play loud party music -- mixing up Indian Bollywood songs, American hip-hop riffs, Brazilian samba and baile funk beats, Balkan harmonies, and more. We don't need electricity, and don't need to play on a stage. We are at our best when mixed with a big sweaty dancing crowd, blaring our trumpets and trombones and pounding out a big nasty beat. Now we get a chance to learn how it's done from the masters. We will be humbled, surely, by the musical skills of the bands at Guca, but we hope that our different approach will be entertaining and fun for all to enjoy. And we also hope that we can show all the guests and musicians at Guca that not all Americans are as stupid as our President!” Paul is very enthusiastic about their participation at the Guca festival: “For me personally it has been a goal to go to Guca for 3 years, before our band even started. Now not only do I get to GO to Guca, but I get to play music there! It's a dream come true.” Greetings to our american friends and…welcome to Serbia!
